The history of GroupUp began a few years ago when my friends and I started watching movies together. Our group was growing, and we wanted an easy way to organize our get-togethers . That's when I developed my first app, MoviePoll. It focused on selecting movies and tracking participant preferences.
Transition to Diverse Activities
Over time, our movie nights took a back seat, but our shared activities, such as hiking and summer camps , continued. This led me to create GroupUp, a more versatile app for forming groups and engaging in various activities.

GroupUp proved invaluable in coordinating attendance, checking car availability , and organizing events like Secret Santa . The timeline feature capturing past events adds a wonderful nostalgic touch.
Sharing GroupUp with the World
Now, I'm eager to share GroupUp with the world, hoping it can bring the same convenience and joy to others as it did for us. And that's how GroupUp came to life.
